Jangwani camp sagana was my first attempt at camping, and I was pleasantly surprised by the well-kept camping grounds.

Jangwani Camp Sagana Activities

We arrived at Jangwani over lunch hour having taken a leisurely drive from Nairobi. It wasn’t late so we got right into what has brought us there; FUN.

Here are some activities you can enjoy at Jangwani camp in Sagana with your friends or colleagues,

Swimming in the River

The swimming spot is right in front of the camp. This activity is ideal if you want to unwind and have a pleasant swim at Jangwani for a day.

What’s more, if you’re searching for more thrill, you can dive into the water from the largest waterfall with complete protection and safety from your safety gear.

I didn’t try this because I have a phobia of water, but some of my friends plunged right from above the waterfall and down into the river.

By their screams, you could tell they had a time of their life.

There’s a lifeguard who’s usually in the river, so you can be sure there’s someone watching in case of an emergency.

Swimming costs Ksh.1,000 per person.

Ziplining

Ziplining in Jangwani Camp is perfect for nature lovers and adrenaline seekers, and I chose to try this one.

The zipline passes over the river, so you glide past the waterfall.

It’s an exciting experience that offers a stunning view of the river.

Enjoy the adventure with trained and experienced guides. It’s a short zipline but extremely fun

Ziplining costs Ksh.2,000 per guest

Archery

Neither of my friends tried this archery. Partly because we were already tired and also agreed it was too expensive.

But if you are up for the challenge, try it when you visit.

This game requires focus and accuracy, but it’s also a lot of fun. The more you miss the target, the more fun you’ll have trying to hit it.

So, prepare to learn how to shoot arrows and have a great time at Jangwani!

Each game costs Ksh.1,000 per person

The trip also includes natural slides, floating downstream, and other creative activities tailored to the journey.

They were pretty busy when we visited, and we didn’t enjoy full rafting , although we really would have loved to. If you intend to go full rafting, visit

Full rafting costs Ksh.6,000.

Boat Riding

A boat ride is suitable for all ages, and it provides the opportunity to get up close to the waterfalls and experience the amazing aquatic life.

We had so much fun on the boat ride. Enjoyed the water splashes as it fell off the waterfall and laughed our hearts out.

Boat rides cost Ksh.1,000 per person.

Simple Rafting

Jangwani Camp Sagana Prices

There are luxurious tents, but at the time of our visit, they were only 2 of them. We wanted to try them out, but unfortunately, they were already booked.

So if you’d like the luxury units, book them in advance.

Additionally, you can choose the self-catering option or opt for in-house catering services.

I highly suggest you go for the self-catering option. Their food is quite mediocre, from my experience.

Here are the Jangwani Camp rates per night.

  • Own Camping- Ksh.2,000
  • Tent Plus- Ksh.5,000
  • Dome Tent- Ksh.3,000
  • Luxury Units- Ksh. 12,000
