Here are the steps to follow when applying for a Lithuania Work Visa. 

  1. Obtain the work permit: your employer applies for the permit on your behalf from the Lithuania Labour Exchange. Ensure you provide the required documents to make this process seamless. 
  2. Visit the nearest Lithuanian Embassy or Consulate: you need a work visa before getting a temporary residence permit to live in Lithuania.
  3. Apply for a visa from the Lithuanian Migration Department website. 
  4. Gather required documents:  ensure you have required documents such as photos, passport, valid health insurance, and so on.
  5. Submit your documents to the embassy: Wait for fourteen days for processing.

Requirements for Lithuania Seasonal Worker Visa

Here are the requirements for applying for a Lithuanian seasonal worker visa. 

A Valid Passport

Your passport must be valid and have two blank pages when applying for a seasonal work visa.

A Work Permit

Your employer must apply for the work permit on your behalf. This is issued by the Lithuanian Labour Exchange.  

An Invitation Letter

You must present an invitation letter showing information about the employer and the employee. 

A Long-stay Visa Application Form

Visit the migration department website and apply for a long-stay visa that is valid for the duration of your job contract.

Proof of Subsistence

You must submit a bank statement indicating your income status. It should be enough to cater for your needs and travel to and from Lithuania.  

Health Insurance

You must have valid health insurance before traveling to Lithuania. Once you enter the country, you must enroll in the country’s insurance system. 

Clean Criminal Record

You must have zero pending cases before traveling to Lithuania. The document cannot be older than three months.

Proof of Professional Accreditation

You must provide a document showing you qualify for the offered job.
