The holder of a seasonal work visa has the right to enter and stay in Portugal and to do the tasks specified in their visa for one or multiple employers. If an employer provides housing for a seasonal worker, whether free or at a fee, it must comply with the national health and safety guidelines. These must be included in the work contract, clearly showing the accommodation conditions. If the employer charges the worker for accommodation, the fee must not exceed 20% of the paid salary and must not be automatically deducted as well.
